Welcome to the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon Relay training program. Over the next 10 weeks we will have FUN training our minds and our bodies to be a part of one of the nation’s most popular running event! Our plan is to build your mental and physical strength to safely complete your leg of the relay. We all come here with a different level of physical fitness and experience. We will all learn about our body and improve our conditioning through this INTERACTIVE training process. As a participant, you can expect your coaches and team leaders to guide you through this process. We are available for your questions and concerns at any time during or outside of Wednesday evening practice. You can expect to improve your fitness level through the joy of running and competing. We expect that each team member shows up READY to PARTICIPATE each Wednesday and that you dedicate time outside of practice to improve your conditioning. We also expect that you COMMUNICATE any physical problems that arise through the training process. Good luck with your training, give it your best effort, and remember to have fun!
