FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 3, 2016 Burlington, VT (March 3, 2016) – The Timberlane Dental Group and the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay are pleased to announce that the Timberlane Dental Group will become the presenting sponsor of the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon Relays. The People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon was the first marathon-distance race to add a relay division to its event in 1989.
Through the collaboration, Timberlane receives sponsorship exclusivity in the dental care category. The company will also receive logo placement on all race marketing materials, including the relay finishers’ medal, and on-site activation opportunities that provide entertainment and engage with runners and spectators at the Memorial Day weekend event.

Throughout race weekend Timberlane will activate its sponsorship in a variety of ways to enhance the race experience for runners, their families and spectators. The race will conclude at the Post-Race Party where Timberlane will greet relay runners with a commemorative pin and offer an opportunity for runners to meet the people behind the smiles.
The 28th annual People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon & Marathon Relays will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Over 8,000 runners and 30,000 spectators are expected to participate in the event. Relay runners participate in two-person or three-to-five person teams and compete alongside marathon participants. Post-race festivities begin in Waterfront Park at 10:00 a.m.
