BURLINGTON, VT – The People’s United Bank Community Spirit award was presented to the Lakewood Estates neighborhood in the new north end of Burlington shortly after the race in 2014. Members of the Lakewood Estates neighborhood were presented with a banner that they hung proudly during the 2015 marathon.

During this year’s race, the runners were asked to vote on the neighborhood that showed the most spirit by doing something remarkable to keep the runners going, cheered the loudest and had the most participation.

The winner of the 2015 People’s United Bank Community Spirit award was again, Lakewood Estates.

A presentation will be made to members of the Lakewood Estates community on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at People’s United Bank located at 1070 North Avenue in Burlington.
