Greetings:

Just a quick note to update the status of producing our “Official” results. Many runners have offered their comments regarding yesterday’s race outcome. We will be working with our timers and the other organizations that utilize our results for qualification standards in other events or similar purposes. Once we have the opportunity to conduct those conversations we will communicate what will qualify as an “official” 2016 Vermont City Marathon.

For those who have noted that the clock was still running and that RaceJoy was still recording results, that was a very deliberate decision on our part so that friends and family had the ability to track the progress or location of their runners.  If timing had been discontinued, this capability would have been lost.

We hope to have this information available by end of business on Wednesday.  We appreciate your patience as we sort through these unique circumstances.
