Entry fees also include day pass to Basin Harbor. Come Spend the Day! You and your family are welcome to use the pool, picnic on the lake, or just enjoy the Basin Harbor grounds. Golf is NOT included in your registration fee.

This accurate, wheel-measured 5K course is mostly flat with a few
very short rolling hills on both paved and dirt road surfaces. This
is one of the most scenic 5K’s you will ever run. |

Presented immediately following the 5K (approx. 9:45a.m.) Awards
will be given to the top male/female and top male/female masters.
Names will be placed on a plaque that hangs in the Red Mill at Basin
Harbor. Numerous random prizes will be drawn with all runners eligible
to win. You must be present to win. All kids will
receive a participation ribbon for the Fun Run. No times provided
for the 1/2 mile run as this is a fun, non-competitive kids'
run. |
Directions to Basin
Harbor:

Take Route 7 to Vergennes. In Vergennes, follow signs to 22A,
drive through town, over the bridge and turn right onto Panton Road,
then right onto Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles. Plenty
of parking will be available at the softball field directly across
from the Red Mill Restaurant. Look for bright yellow parking signs
immediately inside the Basin Harbor entrance.
The Red Mill Restaurant: The restaurant will be open early for
the race participants and observers. You can enjoy their new bistro
menu and 5K specials starting at 11:00am. |
